E. Durkin scholarship is an annual scholarship presented by the Armed Forces Recreation
Society, a branch of the National Recreation and Park Association.The scholarship

| Innovations in Teaching Award |
|
The Innovations in Teaching Award recognizes a
particular teaching innovation that has been created and implemented by a member
of SPRE. The distinction between this award and the existing "SPRE Excellence
in Teaching Award" is that this award focuses on particular innovations whereas
the latter focuses on particular teachers who are outstanding.
The deadline for 2008 is June 2, 2008.

estimated 1.5 million students will enter the American workforce this year as
recent college graduates and will be seeking their first professional jobs. Sure,
you've held summer jobs and internships, perhaps even full time jobs to put yourself
through college, but "getting a job" and "entering professional employment" are
different. Now it's time to change gears, find that "career" level position and
put that new degree to work. This will require a different approach than the one
